Are you associated with a denomination?


Broadlands Community Church is not associated with any specific denomination. We are a Bible believing and teaching church focused on Christ. We are partnered with Dove Christian Fellowship International for the purpose of knowing God and glorifying Him through prayer and worship.

Why don't you take an offering?


While passing an offering plate during the service is not wrong, we provide a box (Ark) in the rear of the auditorium instead. The main reason for this is to decrease the possibility of feeling pressured to give. We desire that the giving be done by people who truly desire to give cheerfully.

What does the symbol of the church mean?


Our symbol depicts the church within the home as it relates to the first churches in the book of Acts.

How do you do communion?


At BCC, we do communion within the small home groups led by the Small Group leaders. This is another picture of how it was done in the early churches.

How can you volunteer?


At BCC we have several things going on. You can volunteer in any of our events as outlined in Get Plugged In

When do you do baby dedications?


We do regular baby dedications depending on the need. The calendar will have the upcoming baby dedications.

How do you handle baptisms?


Our baptisms are typically once a year. These will also be scheduled on the upcoming events and calendar.

How do we know if church is cancelled due to bad weather?


In the event that there is bad weather that will cancel the service, an announcement will be put onto the main page of the website. We will also communicate via email and home group phone chain.

How do I dress?


BCC is a "come as you are" congregation. We want you to be as comfortable as possible, within reason of course!

What do the kids do during Sunday Service?


BCC has several age appropriate Sunday School programs that are outlined on the Ministries pages.
