John 16:7 (ESV) Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Para/klē/tos will not come to you. But if I go, I will send HIM to you.   For the 4th time, Parakletos is used. Only used 5 times in the entire Bible and four of them in John. Para/klē/tos can be translated as Helper, Advocate, Comforter, Counselor. In John 14:16, we are told the Parakletos is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth. Interestingly, Jesus tells us our sins are forgiven and we have a home in heaven, yet HE still finds it necessary to tell us 4 times about the Parakletos? Not only does Jesus tell us for 4 times, HE now says that it is important for HIM to go away so that the Parakletos will come.
