James 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

In the kingdom of God there are many gifts and responsibilities. Likewise, teaching is a gift that comes with divine responsibilities for which the teacher will be held accountable. Therefore, not many should become Biblical teachers, because they will be judged more strictly for the things they teach to God’s people. Teachers like Elders who are required to teach have a similar responsibility.
