2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake God made Jesus to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

This verse encapsulates the entire Bible. It presents the total purpose of the Bible. In 1Cor.2:2, Paul gives us the summary this verse and claims to know nothing else of importance.

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 

We will take the foundation of the verse, Jesus Christ and HIM crucified, and look at its elaboration by examining 2 Corinthians 5:21.  First we see that Jesus’ crucifixion was allowed and purposed by God HIMSELF. 2Cor.5:21says, God “made” Jesus to be sin.
