Governments, empires have risen and fallen. God sets them up for their season and removed them at His decision. And even when in power, God directs their way.  Our confidence cannot be in our leaders or even America….It must be in God.  Our founding fathers built a nation, not a church, not a copy of ancient Israel, not a theocracy…but neither was it built on the idea that God should be expelled from public life. They built a nation that needed to hear from God and have the fruit of following God, the morality that allows people to adhere together.
